By using the Aggieland Contractors platform, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions, which govern the use of our services by contractors and clients. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Purpose of the Platform

Aggieland Contractors is a local network that connects construction professionals with clients seeking home improvement, repair, and construction services in the Bryan/College Station, TX area and surrounding communities. We serve only as a connecting platform and do not employ or directly manage contractors.

2. Eligibility

• Contractors must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Clients must also be 18 years or older and agree to act in good faith when seeking or receiving services.
• Contractors are solely responsible for complying with all licensing, insurance, and legal requirements applicable to their services.

3. User Responsibilities

For Contractors:

• Provide accurate, honest, and up-to-date information.
• Maintain any necessary licenses, certifications, and insurance.
• Complete jobs agreed upon with clients professionally and within the terms discussed.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with clients.
• Report all jobs obtained through the platform to ensure proper tracking and commission processing.

For Clients:

• Provide clear and accurate service requests.
• Treat contractors respectfully and pay as agreed upon.
• Understand that Aggieland Contractors is not responsible for the quality or outcomes of any services rendered.

4. Verification and Reviews

• Contractors may submit documents (license, insurance, photos, client reviews, etc.) to enhance their profiles.
• Aggieland Contractors may verify submitted information but does not guarantee its validity.
• Clients may leave reviews. By submitting reviews, you grant us permission to display them publicly.

5. Fees and Payments

• Access to the Aggieland Contractors platform is completely free for both contractors and clients.
• However, a service commission percentage is applied to each successful transaction or job completed through the platform.
• The exact commission rate will be clearly communicated to contractors before accepting a job.
• By using the platform, contractors agree to pay the applicable commission on any work secured through Aggieland Contractors.
• Failure to report completed jobs to the platform may be considered a breach of terms (see Section 7).

6. Liability Disclaimer

Aggieland Contractors is a referral and networking platform only. We are not liable for:

• Any damages, injuries, or disputes resulting from services provided or requested.
• Misrepresentation by users or inaccurate information provided in listings.
• Delays, cancellations, or disagreements between clients and contractors.

Each user agrees to hold Aggieland Contractors harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use of the platform.

7. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user account (contractor or client) under the following circumstances:

• Submission of false or misleading information.
• Fraud, harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity.
• Repeated complaints or reports from other users.
• If a registered contractor fails to report jobs obtained through the platform, this may result in temporary suspension or permanent account deactivation.
• Aggieland Contractors may conduct investigations and take action without prior notice.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is protected under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information to third parties. Contact information is shared only as needed to complete service connections between clients and contractors.

9. Modifications to Terms

Aggieland Contractors reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes means acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal disputes must be handled within Brazos County, TX.
