🌞 All Age Camp (June 9-13, 2024)
Monday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

9:00 - 9:30 AM: Start with a fun community game to help kids connect and feel comfortable with one another.

9:30 - 10:00 AM: Introduce the schedule for the day and set expectations.

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Create a land acknowledgment to honor the history of the area. A guest speaker will share insights about Boulder’s history. Begin an art project inspired by these discussions, focusing on themes of connection, nature, and gratitude.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch break to relax and socialize.

1:00 - 2:00 PM: End the day with fun water activities like a slip-and-slide, giving kids time to cool off and bond.

Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

9:00 - 9:30 AM: Start with the daily community game to reinforce teamwork and connection.

9:30 - 10:30 AM: Discuss the plan for the day and review the land acknowledgment from Monday.

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Head out on a hike, encouraging kids to pause whenever they find something beautiful or interesting. Provide journals for sketching or writing reflections.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch break along the trail.

1:00 - 2:00 PM: Continue hiking back and wrap up the day with parent pickup at the meeting spot.

Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Volunteer Day)

9:00 - 9:30 AM: Meet at the volunteer site and start with a group game to build energy and teamwork.

9:30 - 10:00 AM: Volunteers introduce themselves and explain the purpose of the day’s activities.

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Begin volunteering tasks under supervision.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch break.

1:00 - 2:00 PM: Continue volunteering or finish the day with group games until parent pickup.

Thursday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Climbing Gym Day)

9:00 - 9:30 AM: Meet outside the Louisville climbing gym and start with a game to energize and prepare for climbing.

9:30 - 10:00 AM: Introduce climbing activities and discuss safety procedures.

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Warm up with bouldering exercises.

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Transition to rope climbing with staff guidance.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch break.

1:00 - 2:00 PM: Free climbing session where kids can explore different routes and practice skills.

Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

9:00 - 9:30 AM: Play the community game one final time to celebrate the connections built throughout the week.

9:30 - 10:00 AM: Review the schedule and goals for the final day.

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Complete the art project started on Monday with guidance from Jake and Jocelyn.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch break.

1:00 - 2:00 PM: Play games, finish any remaining art, and reflect on the week’s experiences.

2:00 PM: Parents are invited to stay for a pool party at the nearby pool to celebrate the end of camp.
