ESI Webinar by RIMI:  Agile-Inspired Transformation

ESI Student Innovation Program at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga invites you to join our upcoming online webinar on October 26th at 16:00. This seminar will delve into the realm of corporate transformation and the practical application of Agile methodologies within RIMI and the broader retail industry. The main speaker for the event is Andris Vedigs, Enterprise Agility & Innovation Lead at RIMI Baltic.

In recent years, the retail sector has witnessed significant transformations marked by fierce competition and rapid digitalization. Corporations now find themselves compelled to be agile and adaptive in order to foster growth. RIMI, as a prominent supermarket chain in the Baltic States, has been at the forefront of business process transformation. During the last 3 years, RIMI has been conducting pilot projects to test various management process changes, culminating in the adoption of a new operational model based on Agile principles in May of 2022.

During this online webinar, we will explore the need for corporate transformation, the application of Agile methodologies within a retail organization, key considerations in the transformation process, effective change management, communication strategies, and the significance of measuring the transformation's impact. Whether you are simply interested in these topics or you represent a startup seeking knowledge about Agile methodologies, transformation, and business processes, this webinar promises to provide invaluable insights and strategies for achieving company growth, drawing from RIMI's extensive experience.

Leading the webinar will be Andris Vedigs, Enterprise Agility & Innovation Lead at RIMI Baltic. Andris is a professional with a wealth of experience in project, program, portfolio, and change management, as well as strategic planning, IT management, and multinational team leadership, spanning the finance and retail industries. Participants of the ESI Impact Lab may recognize Andris as one of the industry mentors who supported them in finding optimal solutions from an industry perspective.

The webinar will be conducted in English and will be held online. A link to access the event will be provided to each participant shortly before the scheduled time. It is required to register for the event through the following link below.
