Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG)! Our upcoming Summer volunteer days will be hosted monthly. Tasks will vary each month, but may include gardening, clean-up, mulching, build up and repair of site structures, or other farm and garden related tasks.
We suggest that all volunteers are at least 16 years old. Children and students under 16 years of age are welcome to participate in volunteer activities as long as: 1) They are accompanied by a parent or guardian, and 2) The parent/guardian understands that SEEAG is not responsible for supervising minors during their time on site. Also, be aware that much of the work is physical and may not be appropriate for young children.
Water and light snacks will be provided, but please help use reduce our waste by bringing a reusable water bottle if you have one! We also have some gardening gloves and garden tools (shovels, pruners, rakes, pitchforks...) available, but appreciate it if you bring your own if you have them since our supplies are limited.
Thank you for your role in making SEEAG's Youth Agriculture Education and Community Programs possible! Our volunteers are essential to our success!
