To ensure that residents, property owners, and business leaders have a direct voice in shaping Fairfield Bay’s future, the Fairfield Bay Alliance will include Pillar Champions —volunteer leaders selected by application to represent and facilitate progress in each of the six Strategic Pillars:
- Quality of Place
- Sustainable Infrastructure
- Year-Round Tourism
- Resident & Property Owners
- Volunteer & Civic Engagement
- Economic Development
The primary responsibility of the Pillar Champions is to act in an advisory capacity to the Alliance. These Champions will:
- Serve as advisors and community representatives within the Alliance
- Participate in regular Alliance meetings to ensure coordination and accountability
- Assist with, and sometimes guide, planning and implementation efforts within their respective Pillars
- Mobilize volunteers and stakeholders, when feasible, to execute strategic initiatives
- Serve as ambassadors of Fairfield Bay, the Alliance, and the work being done to fulfill the vision of Fairfield Bay 2035.
Champions will be selected by the Alliance Leadership Team through an open application process to ensure community representation, leadership talent, and participation. This approach guarantees that the Alliance remains grounded in the values, needs, and aspirations of the broader Fairfield Bay community—in partnership with the institutional leadership.
