The quilt block dimensions will be one 8'x8' square

I understand that the Mason County Barn Quilt Trail committee (MCBQTC) will determine the appropriateness of sites for placement of quilt blocks based on visibility, traffic density, maintenance of building and premises

I will work with MCBQTC in recommending and developing the design of the proposed quilt block and site story for the MCBQT publications

Block photo and story will appear in brochure and on PureLudington.com website and any future publications

The quilt block design cannot be a company logo, nor can the installed quilt block be used as a company logo

No other graphics, slogans or quotes may be on the same side of the barn as the quilt block without approval of the MCBQT committee. Name of the quilt pattern and date is okay.

Block recipient is responsible for installation of block. All costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner unless grant money becomes available to help offset the expense.

The quilt block much remain and be maintained on the building for at least five years, except in case of structural damage or change of ownership

Once the quilt block deisng is agreed upon and approved by the MCBQT committee, no changes may be made to the block and it will not move or be altered in any way without written approval by the MCBQT committee. Notification should be made to the MCBQT committee within 30 days.

I will allow my barn/building yo be photographed by the public and also used for promotions of the trail by the MCBQT committee, CED Task Force and/or Ludington Area CVB. I agree to allow my name/business name to be used in promotional materials and website.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Ludington/Mason County Cultural Economic Development Task Force as well as its officers, committees, agents and employees for and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses and causes of action related to the quilt block.
