Training Opportunity in Web Application Security with VAPT(Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing)

The Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan as the lead agency for digital transformation in the country prioritizes building a pool of highly skilled IT professionals in the country. 

This fiscal year (July 2024 - June 2025), one of the training areas identified is developing the capability in web application security with VAPT. The in-person training will be delivered in Thimphu, tentatively from 27th March to 21st April 2025.

Therefore, we would like to invite IT professionals working in IT private companies, corporates, tech startups, entrepreneurs, academic institutions, and aspiring tech enthusiasts to register for the proposed training by 7th March 2025. 

The prerequisite required includes a foundational understanding of networking, web applications, operating systems, databases, and cybersecurity concepts, including the OWASP Top 10 and encryption basics, along with familiarity with security tools, hands-on debugging, etc.,

Kindly note that there are only 40 slots available (40 participants per batch), so the selection will be based on first come first registered participants with correct information but also fulfilling the prerequisites.

Note: Once you have met all the prerequisites and received your official confirmation, we expect your full dedication to the program. Should you need to cancel, you will be responsible for covering all associated training costs, including meals, logistics, and trainer fees, as outlined by the organizers
