Nuestro Legado: Cumbre De Equidad al Aire Libre. Nuestro objetivo es convocar proveedores de programas de servicio directo, dueños de negocios, donantes/financiadores, recreacionistas, miembros comunitarios y otros grupos interesados de todo el estado para explorar y conversar sobre la falta de representación de grupos no-blancos y grupos históricamente bajo-representad@s en la Industria al Aire Libre. La cumbre abordará una mezcla de temas sobre la falta de caminos (pipelines) existentes para jóvenes y adult@s bajo-representad@s, barreras a la participación (incluyendo pero no limitado a: accesibilidad de lenguaje, comunicación y alcance culturalmente apropiado, acceso a equipos/programación adaptativa, finanzas/costos, y tipos de programación ofrecidos), y las soluciones potenciales a estos problemas.

La programación de este año tomará lugar durante dos días:
  • Marzo 20, 9am-5pm: El Día 1 es consistente con nuestra programación de años previos y se enfocara en temas de la industria para ayudar a nuestras comunidades a generar lluvia de ideas, platicar y aprender sobre diferentes estrategias  para aumentar la equidad en su organización y programas. Este programa correrá el viernes 20 de marzo de 9-3:30pm con actividades en el edificio de Get Outdoors Leadville! de 3:30-5pm. Esto será en Colorado Mountain College Leadville.
  • Marzo 21, 5:30pm: El Dia 2 es nuevo y sera una Noche de Películas Comunitarias que destacan diferentes experiencias al aire libre e incluye una conversación con panelistas. Este programa correrá la tarde del sábado 21 de marzo, comienza a las 5:30pm. Le animamos explorar la comunidad en la mañana ya que no tendremos programación.
**OPCIONAL**: ESTE ES UN EVENTO GRATUITO, pero si tiene la habilidad financiera de hacer una contribución de $25 hacia un boleto, puede ver más información en la sección 2 hacer la donación en la sección 3 de este formulario de registración. La noche de Películas Comunitarias requiere la compra de un boleto de $25.

The Nuestro Legado: Outdoor Equity Summit’s objective is to convene direct service program providers, business owners, funders, recreationists, community members, and other invested stakeholders from across the state to explore and discuss the lack of representation of non-white and historically underrepresented groups in the Outdoor Industry. The Summit will dive into a mix of issues surrounding the lack of pipelines existing for underrepresented youth and adults, barriers to participation (including but not limited to: language accessibility, culturally appropriate outreach and engagement, access to adaptive programming/equipment, finance/costs, and types of programming offered), and the potential solutions to these issues.

This year's programming will be spread across two days:

  • March 20th, 9am-5pm: Day 1 is consistent with our previous years' programming and will focus on industry topics to help our communities brainstorm, chat, and learn about different strategies to increase equity in your organization and programs. This program will run Friday March 20th from 9-3:30pm with Get Outdoors Leadville! hosting outdoor activities from 3:30-5pm.  This will be at Colorado Mountain College Leadville.
  • March 21st, 5:30pm: Day 2 is new and will be a Community Film Night that showcases different experiences in the outdoors and includes a panelist conversation. This program will run during the evening of Saturday March 21st, doors open at 5:30pm. We encourage you to explore the community in the morning as we will not be hosting any programming at that time!
 
**OPTIONAL**: THIS IS A FREE EVENT, but if you have the financial ability to make a contribution of $25 for a ticket, you can read more information in section 2 and make donation in section 3 of this registration form. The Community Film Night requires a $25 ticket purchase
