As members of the Student Voice Club, students will work
with club advisors, who act as facilitators, to begin to ask questions about
their current school environment and work on ways to make that environment even
better. Students
will interact with their peers to conduct informal polls and determine the
primary issues that affect their learning, and then work to develop solutions
to bring to school and district administrators.
The Student Voice Club is open to BRS
students in grades 3-5, who are interested in making positive changes in their school. The Student Voice Club is a student-driven
club in which students use their own voices and ideas to identify and target
issues in order to make BRS a better place to learn and grow. Students meet Wednesdays from 3-4 pm on the following dates: October 18, November 8, December 6 & 20, January 10 & 31, February 7 & 21, March 6 & 27, April 10 & 17, May 15 & 29.
Advisors are Ms. Link (blink@lumberton.k12.nj.us) and Ms. Martino (emartino@lumberton.k12.nj.us). Please contact them with any questions.
