Research Impact and Outreach: Making a Difference
******This year’s theme recognizes the diversity of research impacts and trajectories (academic vs industry).
We encourage applicants from all disciplines and we welcome all research fields!
Eligibility: Only postdoctoral scholars are eligible to present at the symposium. Talks will be selected for the symposium based on (1) interest of the research to a wide audience, and (2) clarity of the abstract. Please create an abstract that is understandable to the general community. Avoid using highly technical language, abbreviations and jargon specific to your field.

Time: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Place: Pacific Ballroom D - Student Center
Presentation formats:
Oral presentations (14 presenters): 12 min presentation, 3 min Q&A
Posters
Awards:
12 minute presentations will be eligible for prizes. These are:
1st Place ($300)
2nd Place ($200)
3rd Place ($100)
Poster presentations will be eligible for a People's Choice Award ($75 gift card)
Submission Guidelines:
-Complete the form below and indicate at least one presentation preference.
-Limit abstract to 2,000 characters (approximately 300 to 350 words).
-Describe the objectives and results of your research in the abstract.
-Do not include illustrations with the abstract.
-Be sure to double-check your abstract for typographical or grammatical errors before submitting. Abstracts will not be edited for content. Please avoid entering special characters and symbols.
