Hey everyone! Great news - even with everything that's going on, it is still possible to have band! We'll have to make some adjustments - imagine a mask for your trumpet or a shield for your flute! But it's time to start looking forward to the fall! Our principals are in meetings right now putting together both the master schedules for each building and individual student schedules. You can help us out a lot by filling out this very short form to help us know how to plan for band.

For 7th Grade - this is the year you get to do Solo and Ensemble, if you want. We will also be going to Festival, which is exciting (and usually equals a day off of school, so that's cool!). You also have the chance to explore and possibly switch to a new instrument - the expanded instruments like bass clarinet, bassoon, oboe, tuba, tenor and baritone saxophone. ...and so much more!

Let me be very clear - - - I WANT YOU IN BAND NEXT YEAR!! :-) I mean that in the nicest possible way - I appreciate each and every one of you and what you bring to the class. I am sad that we missed out on some of our end of the year traditions and fun times...and hope that you will stay in band and see what this next year brings.

If you could please let us know by Friday, August 7th, that would be great and really help out with scheduling in the office. If you happen to miss the deadline, that's fine - just submit when you can!
