Children are the future. But children are also the present, and they have a right to special protection, here and now. The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the most widely ratified UN Convention.
However, looking behind these propositions offers a much bleaker picture. Reality looks – unfortunately – quite different. The workshop will generate best practices and concrete solutions to better protect vulnerable children, end their marginalization and promote their well-being.
