MGPV Student Representative Application
Overview
The Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology, & Volcanology (MGPV) Division is seeking one graduate student to serve a three-year term as a student representative on the MGPV's management board. The board consists of five officers, representatives from adhering societies, and student representatives. Division and current board members information can be found online.

The role of the MGPV Student Representatives is to provide student perspectives on issues and activities related to the Division, seek input from other students in the Division, and communicate important information to student members. We hope to find an enthusiastic member of our community who wants to work with us on broadening student representation.

Student representatives are voting members of the management board and are expected to participate in email and Zoom communications, and when possible, come to the annual meeting and participate in Division functions (e.g., business meeting, reception, etc.).
