Farming Exemption in Act 250

Due to the results of Act 181 (2024), there are efforts at play to weaken Act 250 exemptions for farmers. Rural Vermont is collecting stories that highlight the importance of the farming exemption for the working lands community, and examples if it has been challenged and upheld, and if in your experience the Land Use Review Board (formerly Natural Resources Board) has been aware of multi-use of farming structures not requiring Act 250 permitting.
