2019-20 TAPAS Application for Artists
Please complete the information below to be considered for the 2019-20 TAPAS Catalog. Applications will be accepted through August 2019.

TAPAS (Teaching Artists Presenting in Asheville Schools) is an arts-integration program that implements high quality artist residencies to create craft and performance experiences across all curriculum. Since 2010, TAPAS has impacted more than 7,000 students, trained over 50 artists, and provided more than 800 days of artists in residence.

TAPAS is accepting applications from artists interested in implementing residencies in Asheville City Schools for grades pre-k through 12th. Residencies are generally 3-10 days long depending on the complexity of the project.

A limited number of concepts will be accepted. We are looking for high impact of students and unique connections between creative arts and classroom curriculum. If you have never applied before, you will be contacted and asked for a resume/cv.

Applications will be reviewed by the TAPAS selection committee. A follow up email will provide you with next steps.
