What’s in a weekly SHARE?
Ideally a weekly share should be a dozen eggs (every other week), and enough vegetables for a family of 4 for a week. More produce in late June & July, less in late August.

Here’s some of what we’re planning for the 2018 season:
Lettuces, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Kale, Mixed Peppers, Squash, Zucchini, Watermelon, Tomatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Broccoli, Onions, Potatoes, Carrots, Corn, Cabbage, Winter Squash, Strawberries, Shiitake Mushrooms, Asparagus, Radishes, Beans and Herbs.

Each summer we include 1lbs of farm bacon (Aug) and 1lbs of sausage (July) (we reserve the right to substitute for something of equal value).

Every share includes a dozen farm fresh eggs biweekly!

In order to offer our supporters a “family size”, economically priced CSA share Prospect Meadow Farm has relationships with Hatfield Farms who also contribute produce to the shares.

Some CSA items will come from the following Hatfield Farms:
Pop’s Farm
Honey Pot Farm
Wendolowski Farm
Smiarowski Farm

Growing Methods:
Though Prospect Meadow Farm remains a chemical free farm, the farms we work with use the integrated pest management system for crop management. This is a minimal use standard so it is not organic but as small family farms they only treat plants when absolutely necessary to save it from pests.

All checks should be mailed to Prospect Meadow Farm, 103A Prospect St., Hatfield MA and made out to SERVICENET. Checks must be received by May 11th. Please email Allison LaClair at alaclair@servicenet.org with any questions.
