An Old Colony Job Request Form must be completed. Forms are available on the school website and at the Main Office. A completed and signed Work Order Request Form must be submitted prior to the start of the work. Old Colony Automotive will assess the work required and, if appropriate, accept the work order. An appointment will then be scheduled.

Work will be taken in accordance to the schedule and curriculum. Job requests will be evaluated by the instructor and assigned based on suitability for student skill development and availability of student scheduling.

Auto body repairs will not be performed.

Vehicles will be provided for student training purposes. Vehicles may be used for an instructor led demonstration of a particular component, system, or diagnostic routine.

The work may take considerably longer than it would at a regular automotive repair facility.

The Old Colony Automotive Technology Program will not be held to any verbal estimate that may be made at the start of a job.

Vehicles will be repaired as a result of diagnoses performed at the Old Colony Automotive Department. Repairs will not be performed based on the customer’s diagnoses.

All vehicles must be privately owned, not commercially licensed, and not a fleet vehicle. Vehicles or components will not be sold for profit.

Good Work Assurance:
All work is inspected by an instructor.

Any safety related work (brakes, steering, etc.) will be road tested by the students, who worked on the vehicle, and an instructor.

Work Authorization:
I authorize Old Colony Automotive to perform the repair work described on this order form, utilizing necessary labor, parts, and materials. I agree that Old Colony Automotive is not responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle, or articles left in the vehicle, in case of theft, fire, or any other cause beyond control. I agree that Old Colony Automotive is not responsible for delays caused by unavailability of parts, or delay in parts shipments by the supplier or transporter. I grant Old Colony Automotive Instructors permission to operate my vehicle for the purpose of testing and/or inspection. I understand if any closer analysis finds additional labor, parts, or materials are necessary to complete the repair, I will be contacted for authorization only if the amount of repairs that I will pay will be increased. Services provided are for educational purposes only, hereby releasing employees and students from any liability, loss or accidental damage while completing or as a result of completing a project.

Payment Policy:
Full payment is due upon completion of work. Upon completion of the work, the invoice and keys will be forwarded to the Main Office for pick up. Keys must be picked up at the Main Office by 2:45 P.M. Cash, personal checks, credit cards, and cashiers checks are accepted forms of payment. NO WORK WILL BE RELEASED UNTIL THE INVOICE IS PAID.
