We've had hundreds of conversations in our community about why updating our nondiscrimination laws is so important.

Thanks to you and the more than 100 volunteers who participated in our door to door canvassing project this summer, we have reached and surpassed our goals. During the last two weeks, we hoped to reach 272 voters and have persuasive conversations about nondiscrimination. But in fact we had more than 300 conversations!  We learned so much from each of our canvassers. We changed the minds of dozens of Scottsdale residents. And hundreds of Arizonans will be talking about our campaign. We couldn’t have succeeded without your help!
 
However, the work is not done. This week, our project moves to the phones.

We’ll be having similar conversations on the phone with voters throughout the state, asking them about the gay and transgender people they know and explaining why nondiscrimination is so important.  Our goal is to have 222 conversations in the next two weeks - by August 13. This means we need more the help of fifty volunteers to reach our goal and we're counting on volunteers like you to make sure we reach our goals again.
 
Join us for a phonebank during our kick off weekend this Saturday, August 6 beginning at 9:30am or 3pm. Or join us Sunday, August 7 from 3- 8:30pm.
