The Park Slope Child Care Collective is a not-for-profit, licensed, full-day child-care center, founded by neighborhood parents in 1971 to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for the young children of working parents. The Collective strives to make the student body racially, ethnically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse. Through our classroom books, activities, play materials, and discussions, children learn to recognize what they have in common with one another, while respecting and enjoying what makes each of them special and unique. We welcome and are supportive of all families and are inclusive of children of all abilities.
Please complete the application form below (one per child) and submit the application fee (see below) by January 1, 2019 to apply for entry for the 2019-20 school year. Please note that we prioritize September 2019 entry during the winter admissions period. We refer to waitlist applications at other times in the year. Please use the last question for additional information you would like to share with us. Thank you for your interest in the Park Slope Child Care Collective.
If you have previously applied and are re-applying, or if you are now applying for the sibling of a previous/current applicant or previous/current Collective student, please indicate that in the last question and do not submit another application fee. The application fee is a one-time charge per family, e.g., twin applicants submit one application fee. Completed applications are due by Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Late applications will be accepted and placed on an active waitlist.
Once we receive your completed application (online application AND fee), we will contact you to arrange a play visit in December or January.
