Formal Wear Giveaway Sign-Up
Hello and welcome to the William Jeanes Memorial Library Formal Wear Giveaway!

Due to the pandemic, we are requiring that all interested teens register so we can ensure that we keep the giveaway as safe as possible for everyone.

The Formal Wear Giveaway took place from March 11th-14th. We are keeping the Giveaway up for another week, in case you missed it! If you'd like to come in during any of our OPEN* hours, simply pop into the Library and a staff member will be happy to help you. If you'd like to come on Saturday the 20th, please fill out the form below.

The FWG is open to ANY teen (a person in middle or high school), regardless of where they live, where they attend school, their financial needs, etc. ALL teens are welcome and NO questions will be asked!

The FWG will have the following items for free:

- Formal dresses (cocktail, prom, etc.)
- Formal menswear (suits separates, tuxes, ties, etc.)
- Jewelry
- Shoes
- Evening bags

All items in the FWG are from donations, so there may be a limited stock of certain sizes. Menswear is also limited in stock. There is no set limit to the amount of items teen can take during the FWG, we just ask you that be respectful of other "shopping" teens.

Teens will be able to sign up for a 45-minute time slot. They may bring one other person with them to help them shop, such as a friend or family member. If the other person they want to bring is a teen who would like to shop, that teen is encouraged to sign up separately so that we can ensure a safe amount of people will be in the Library. After you sign up, you will receive an email confirmation. Should you need to change your time slot, you may do so my clicking the link in that email confirmation or by contacting Teen Librarian Sara Huff (contact information at the bottom of this section.)

Masks will be required for entry into the building, and must be worn at all times. Temperatures will also be taken by staff upon entry.

The FWG will take place at the William Jeanes Memorial Library, located at 4051 Joshua Road, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444.

Due to the regulations of the COVID-19 pandemic, those who register can bring ONE person with them, such as a friend or family member. If the person you are bringing with you is another teen who would like to "shop", they should register via the form as well.

There are a max number of teens allowed to sign up for reach time slot, which is why it is important that you sign up for the time slot that you know you can attend. f you do not see a time slot that is available, then that time slot has reached capacity. UPDATE: Thursday is now at capacity. Please pick a date from Friday - Sunday.
