The Campus Y and Student's Government Public Service and Advocacy Committee are hosting the SERV-UNC (Students Empowering and Re-envisioning Volunteerism) conference on Sunday, March 24th, from 12:00-2pm at the Campus Y. The goal of this conference is to introduce students to public service opportunities on campus and teach them skills for student mobilization and effective organization marketing. The conference will begin at 12 with a workshop on effective student mobilization and marketing Molly Barker, founder of the organization Girls on the Run, a learning program through running for girls in 3rd-8th grade, is the keynote speaker for the conference and will be speaking from 1-1:30pm on the day of the conference.
