Pine Park/Tranquille Creek Local Plant Study Field Trip
Field trip information:

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6th, 2018 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am (approx.) at Pine Park/Tranquille Creek at Lac Du Boi Grasslands Park, west of Kamloops

All TLA students are invited to participate (non-TLA students are welcome, too)

9:30 am  Arrive and meet
9:40 am -11:30 am

Come along as we take a nature hike along the Tranquille Creek valley and learn about some local plants, their traditional uses, and other aspects of grasslands ecosystems.

Bring sunscreen & hat, good walking shoes, water & (optional) snack and your keen powers of observation. Parent supervision required; proximity to quick-moving streams.

Driving Directions: Take Tranquille Road past the Kamloops airport. At Tranquille townsite, take the fork to the right on to Tranquille - Criss Creek (Red Lake) Rd and over the railway tracks, driving about 1.3km. The parking lot is on your right, just past a gravel pit.
