Commission Floor Exemption REQUEST

Leadership will reach out with confirmation in writing if approved within 24 hours.

We’re committed to creating a brokerage where you thrive—both professionally and financially. To support this vision, we’re implementing a commission floor policy, effective September 1, 2025.

Here’s what this means:
Starting 9/1/2025, any transaction with a commission under 2% to ehomes will still have your personal split calculated from 2%, regardless of the lower compensation accepted.

💵 Example:

Transaction Price: $650,000
Accepted Commission: 1.5%
Actual Commission Received: $650,000 × 1.5% = $9,750
Standard Commission (for split purposes): $650,000 × 2% = $13,000

  • Company Portion (30% of 2%):
    $13,000 × 30% = $3,900 (this does not change)

  • Amount Left for Agent:
    $9,750 actual commission – $3,900 company portion = $5,850 to agent

  • Effective Agent Split:
    Instead of getting 70% of $9,750 = $6,825, the agent receives $5,850
(because they’re covering the shortfall from agreeing to less than 2%).

We want to be clear—this is not a penalty, but a coaching opportunity. Too often, we’re seeing agents take commissions that don’t cover their business costs, let alone lead to growth. You deserve to be compensated for your value, and our goal is to help coach you into stronger negotiations and more profitable deals.

We understand there may be rare situations that call for a commission exception. In those cases, we’re happy to discuss prior to entering escrow so we can help strategize and support your business. Ideally this must report to broker within 24 hours of knowledge of commission reduction matter.

At ehomes, we believe in leading with excellence and helping each other level up. This policy is designed to protect your income, reinforce your worth, and sharpen our collective edge as top-tier sales professionals.

Let’s keep raising the bar—together.
