2022 Variety Show Application & Consent Form
The following application must be submitted by Tuesday, May 10, 2022.  Late applications will not be accepted. If your student is performing in a group, please make sure all forms are submitted. Each student is allowed to participate in ONE routine, either a solo or a group, not both. We can not accommodate multiple routines this year.  Each routine should be as close to 1 minute in length as possible. Routines with music must attach lyrics to application and the edited song must be sent to activities@ortegapto.org by May 4th, 2022.  

Ortega’s 2022 Variety Show Information:

ANNOUNCERS & BACKSTAGE CREW (4TH & 5TH GRADE)
All students wanting to be an announcer or a member of the backstage crew must fill out an application and attend the rehearsals.

PERFORMERS
Each routine should be as close to 1 minute in length as possible. Please plan on bringing all props rehearsals.

REHEARSALS
All performers, backstage crew and announcers are required to attend all rehearsal dates. PLEASE SCHEDULE OTHER COMMITMENTS AROUND THESE DATES. Students are expected to be respectful to performers on stage and will be dismissed from rehearsal for disrespectful conduct. Performers will be dismissed after they have rehearsed their routine and have signed out with an adult volunteer. Students will not be allowed to film or take photos of other routines during rehearsals.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer and are welcome to attend rehearsals.

PERFORMANCE
This year's performances will take place during school hours and grades will be split. TK-2 will perform in the morning on June 3 and 3rd-5th graders will perform in the afternoon. Performances will be videotaped for families.

5/25 1:45pm dress rehearsal & cast photos
6/1 1:45pm dress rehearsal
6/3 School Performances Time TBD


*This performance will be recorded by video for the dissemination to Ortega parents that could not be in attendance at the event or who wish for a recording.  By clicking submit you consent to your child participating in Ortega's Got Talent 2022 and to the child's performance being video recorded.
