Hear from Nick Juravich, author of Para Power and associate professor of labor history at UMASS Boston on his new book, Para Power: How Paraprofessional Labor Changed Education. An engaging portrait of an invisible profession, Para Power examines the lives and practices of the first generation of paraprofessional educators against the backdrop of struggles for justice, equality, and self-determination. The annual James Green Memorial Forum honors a labor historian and is hosted by the Harvard Trade Union Program housed at the Center for Labor and a Just Economy. If you are not a Harvard ID holder, please come to the WCC entrance by the Coop at corner of Mass Ave and Everett Street.
