Fundraiser Participation

The below information details the Fundraiser Participation for the VA Guardians Basketball Organization (VAGBO).

In addition to registration cost, the VA Guardians Basketball Organization relies on the funds generated by our fundraisers to help sustain operational costs to include practice gym rentals, tournament fees and any other fees or items/areas critical to the functioning of the VA Guardians Basketball Organization. *

Coaches, Team Managers, and Parents will collaborate to determine the in-season fundraisers and provide at least a (1) week notification to all players and parents. Participation in ALL fundraisers are mandatory as every player benefits. However, parents may choose to opt out of the fundraisers by paying the optout fee of $50 per fundraiser per player. *

Volunteer Participation

The below information details volunteer participation for the VAGBO.

Parents and Players are required to participate in volunteer events. We encourage the parents and players to volunteer for a minimum of 2.5 hours per event. Additional information and sign-up sheets for the volunteer/ drive events will be communicated and provided to parents and players at least (4) weeks in advance. *
