The Prophet (SWAS) when asked by "Abi Rafi (RA) if a child has rights over the parent. He (SWAS) said: "Yes the rights of the child over the father includes being taught writing, swimming, and archery.                            

Sisters, we are about to embark on a venture that is Sunnah, fun and lifesaving. Some of us know how to swim and will be striving to improve. Others are beginners and will be learning the basics. May Allah enable us all to be among those who can swim to save ourselves and our families in a time of need.    

We now have a year long program that began July 6, 2024 and will end  just May 31, 2025. And thanks to a grant from the city we are able to pay a reduced rate of $30 per six weeks session.                                                
         We ask that everyone wear modest swimwear.
          We also ask that you do not bring jewelry or valuables.
