#ShareTheMicInCyber - October 2022
We are excited to announce that, in celebration of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we are hosting #ShareTheMicInCyber!

If you haven't heard of the event before, it's a day-long social media event on Twitter & LinkedIn. We are recruiting prominent voices in cybersecurity (Cyber Allies) to share their platforms with Black Cyber Practitioners in this field to lift those voices up and bring the community together. Join the robust community born from previous campaigns, and let's continue to work together to amplify Black practitioners in cyber and break down systemic racism.

This campaign round we are focusing on #BelongingInCyber — honoring the role of psychological safety & anti-racism in the workplace. Please be prepared to discuss how you affirm your colleagues, combat systemic racism in the workforce, and if you'd like, the importance of psychological safety, to your own work.

The campaign date is October 21, 2022. If you are committed to participating as a Cyber Ally, Practitioner or Supporting Organization, please fill out this form. We will match you with a cyber ally or a Black practitioner or reach out about support opportunities based on your selections. More details on logistics to follow, but as a reminder, we are not asking folks to cede control of their account; rather we would ask you to create and share in advance enough Tweets for the prominent cyber expert to Tweet about you all day long. By signing up, you agree to participate and meet the deadlines for content creation and or sharing. Please remember the titles and information you provide here will be used in our materials. Please list them as you would like them to appear in our promotion materials and content. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate tweaks to the information you provide outside of a job change.

This form will close early September 2022.

We look forward to your response & participation! We will reach out with next steps and to confirm your participation.

Thank you for your interest and support!
