Please fill out the survey below to be a part of San Francisco's Community Day of Action for SB 1193, the state law that requires certain businesses to post an anti-human trafficking notice. On Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, we will be walking various neighborhoods in San Francisco to check if businesses covered by SB 1193 have their poster up. Similar efforts are taking place in Alameda, Marin, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties. Please join us at 1:00 pm at the San Francisco Law Library, 1145 Market Street (between 7th and 8th Streets), San Francisco, 4th floor seminar room, for a brief orientation and to get your list of businesses to visit. Wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes, as each team may have to walk about one mile to visit businesses on their list once they get to their assigned neighborhood. Bring a clipboard if you have one.
We are asking you to join us in raising awareness, and visiting businesses in San Francisco to educate them about their obligation to post a trafficking notice. We will be assembling at 1:00 pm for a short orientation and then will be sent out in groups of 2 to neighborhoods all over the city. Once you have signed up for this event, you will receive an email with next steps.
