Open Paddle with Minnesota Dragon Boat Club Saturday, August 29th from 10:45-Noon at Lake Phalen - 1400 Phalen Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55106
It's an Open Paddle session and we'll provide you with a dragon boat paddle to use plus a life vest if needed. You'll meet some of our coaches who will teach you the basic steps of learning how to paddle in a dragon boat, which is a much different experience than paddling in a kayak or a canoe. Dragon boating is a unique sport and we're one of three dragon boat teams that exists in Minnesota and the Twin Cities area. We're the only team in the area that is co-ed and open to everyone between the ages of 18 - 85. We're also open to those who are a survivor of any kind of cancer.
