Welcome to the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law!

The "Allies in Law" Program was created to provide first-year students with the opportunity to network with and receive support from upper year students despite classes and orientation being online over the last few years. This year, we are pleased to be heading back to campus for classes and will be continuing the Program to assist incoming law students connect with upper year students.

Through Allies in Law, interested first-year students will be paired with a second or third-year student, known as an Ally, who will be tasked with befriending them and providing advice, support, and reassurance. Upper year Allies will be required to communicate with their assigned student, a minimum of one time before classes start and once per month thereafter. But of course, paired students will be free to communicate as much as they want!

Students who are interested in being paired up with an upper year Ally are invited to sign-up here!
