Referee Application
• We welcome Referees from 6th grade to Adults!
• Referees sign in, get Ref shirts/whistles, and get paid every game day from the Concession Stand.
• REFS ARE A PAID POSITION AND WILL BE PAID ON A PER GAME BASIS
  (K-1 $15.00 a game)   (2nd-6th $20 a game) due to the length of play in a game
**Community Service Hours are available upon request instead of payment for those that wish**  


Referees are responsible for: 
  • reading, understanding and applying the GAME DAY rules and Referee Guidelines, 
  • being on time for scheduled games, 
  • starting/ending games on time, 
  • and most importantly maintaining a safe and fun environment for players.

The HBRYSL is a recreational league with an emphasis on sportsmanship and having fun! That being said, we have your BACK as our VIP volunteer Referee! While some cheers and jeers are all part of the fun of sports we will NOT tolerate any adult going over the line(in any rare event). There will always be a HBRYSL Board Members in attendance at a game. Should you feel the need to contact us for safety reasons, try the Concessions Booth or CALL my cell 847-421-8223 and I can come over to supervise the rest of your game. Thank you for volunteering!
