*What is ReVolv?
The WEEE recycling industry is in urgent need of an efficient and low cost Liquid Cristal Display (LCD) recycling process to help them comply with the WEEE Directive. Co-financed by the Eco-Innovation initiative of the European Union a two-year project, called ReVolv has been launched to offer a solution to this problem. The ReVolv project will allow the upscaling and commercialization of an automated system for LCD panel depollution to enable further downstream recycling. Votechnik Trumaster-ALR LCD recycling machinery fills the gap in the market; it is a fully automated, high through-put technology designed to meet the WEEE Directive recycling rates. One of the objectives of the ReVolv project is to build the first real life size version of the Trumaster-ALRTM LCD recycling technology.
ReVolv is co-founded by the Eco-innovation programme of the European Union.
