The Milton Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is making a limited number of grants available for the instructional, educational, and/or enrichment benefit of MTSD students. Grant availability will vary from year-to-year as permitted by the PTA's annual objectives and budget; however, we join you in celebrating the meaningful contribution your ideas may make.
Grant Eligibility & Guidelines:

Applicant must be a current PTA member
•
Grant request can be for materials or professional services (excluding field trips)
•
Outcome of grant should directly benefit students
•
Funds/materials must not already be budgeted/provided by MTSD
•
The PTA can make the purchase or the recipient can purchase the materials and submit a request for reimbursement (the PTA may not reimburse for taxes)
• Check Request Form must be submitted to PTA with proof of purchase for reimbursement
• Funds not used within 60 days may be forfeited, unless otherwise authorized by the PTA
• Grant requests must not exceed $500.00
• Merchandise purchased for multi-year use will become property of MTSD
• Use of funds must meet the standards set by MTSD policies and procedures
Applications will be reviewed at the next scheduled PTA Meeting and approved based on the following:
• Contribution to creative learning
• Results anticipated
• Number of students benefiting from the grant
• Importance of the learning experience to the students involved
• Degree of confidence in the project’s success
• Diversity of the students, curriculum, and objectives met by the grant
