Conscious Committee Application Form 2020-2021
Hello everyone, we hope you’re all keeping well during this unpredictable time. Mental health and wellbeing is no doubt a huge portion of everyones lives, now more than ever. If you are interested in applying for a role to be part of the University of Edinburgh’s first ever charity registered mental health organisation please fill out the application form below!
Conscious Edinburgh was set up in 2018 with the goal of encouraging more students to speak up about their mental health as well as breaking down the stigma surrounding this. During the 2 years we have not only raised over £27,000 for other mental health charities but gained recognition and our own charity status. Our aim is to train at least one person from every club/society at the University in Mental Health First Aid with the idea that the majority of people will have someone they are comfortable approaching if they wanted to talk about mental health related issues. However, these courses can be very costly, therefore a large team is required. From managing the day to day runnings of the charity to the fundraising aspects to the wellbeing events, there are many different roles that you can apply for!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Applications will close 5th June 2020.
If your application is successful you will be invited for an informal online ‘interview’ which will take place the week beginning 15th June 2020.

Stay safe and stay at home 💙
