https://forms.gle/uX2wR5CdmLCqkX1r9KVUSD is offering a half-day Summer School for all students beginning Tuesday, July 6 and running through Friday, July 30. School will begin at 8:00 AM each day with lunch at 12:00 Noon and dismissal at 12:30 PM. Home to school transportation will be provided. COVID safety protocols will be in place including face coverings and required social distancing as described in the KVUSD COVID Safety Plan. Depending on enrollment, Summer School will be offered at Kelseyville High, Mountain Vista Middle, Kelseyville Elementary, and Riviera Elementary Schools and will only be offered for in-person instruction. Kelseyville Learning Academy students may also participate in Summer School by either attending one of our regular school sites, or continuing with the independent study homeschool model.
The focus of Summer School this year will be addressing specific areas of learning loss.
For Kelseyville and Riviera Elementary Schools, Summer School will focus on critical skills in math, reading, and writing to bridge learning gaps so students will be successful the next school year.
Mountain Vista Middle School will offer two programs. The first program will be the MVMS Summer Math Academy designed to address targeted math standards. The second program will be the AVID Excel Summer Bridge program for English Learner students.
Kelseyville High will offer credit recovery and learning loss programs that will be determined by the number of students registered.
