Please see here for the registration form for participation in the Secure and Resilient UTM Task Force, co-led by Openskies and TII.

UTM can be considered as critical technology / national infrastructure that is primarily digital. As with any emerging technology it is crucial that a position be developed from a security point of view. Existing UTM regulations specify broad standards for cyber security but they lack specifics. In this task force, we will conduct a review of gaps in the standards, the regulation across the UTM services as mentioned in e.g. the U-space regulation.

The task force is essential to bridge critical gaps in the current UTM specifications, particularly regarding privacy, remote identification authenticity, integrity and ambiguity, and communication resiliency. GUTMA members need to develop a position on security and may have to demonstrate compliance with the relevant regulations and ensure a secure, reliable operation. This task force aims to address the cyber security aspect of certification by providing a framework for UTM security.
