IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE:
1. The mission trip must be a Carmel Baptist Church sponsored global mission trip.
2. The applicant must be a member of Carmel Baptist Church.
3. A completed application must be received no later than 30 days prior to the final financial deadline.
IN ADDITION, THE APPLICANT:
1. Must fund-raise in order to receive the Global Scholarship.
- Send your fundraising letter to Dawn Morton in the Nations office.
- Once the letter is received it will be reviewed for approval. Submission of an application does not guarantee a scholarship award.
- Individuals (or families) will only be eligible to apply for the scholarship after having raised at least 50% of their personal funds. Awards will be disbursed after the personal fundraising deadline has passed.
- The maximum scholarship award may be up to 50%, but not greater than $1500 and may be reduced should other fundraising efforts on your behalf exceed the amount needed.
- It is understood that any scholarship awards will be dependent upon a balance in the scholarship fund.
- Applicants will only by eligible for one scholarship award per calendar year.
2. Must agree to submit, within 1 month of returning from the trip, either:
- A personal written testimony of how the trip impacted his/her life
- A video showing how this experience impacted his/her life
