Help Us Resist the Bridger Pipeline, 2026
This letter will be sent (by Montana Health and Climate) with all of our names included.

I am deeply concerned about the proposed Bridger Pipeline, which would span 647 miles and carry 1.13 million barrels of crude daily across Montana, including through the Fort Peck Reservation. This project threatens waterways, wildlife, and ecosystems, with pipelines posing risks of leaks, explosions, and emissions that harm human health. The route endangers crucial aquifers and regions with high water tables. The owning company, Tru Cos, has a history of spills and safety violations, including a 45,000-gallon diesel spill in 2022, a 50,000-gallon crude spill in 2015, and a $12.5 million fine in 2023. A spill could contaminate vital groundwater and disrupt water supplies, especially during drought. The $2 billion cost raises questions about economic justification and land impacts. I urge reconsideration to protect our lands, waters, and communities.
