It is essential to provide proper grooming to the luxurious fur of a Maine Coon to avoid any matting discomfort. Adequate provision of litter boxes, with one or two boxes per feline in the household, is highly suggested. To ensure a comfortable and spacious environment, it is advisable to use a large storage tote as a litter box, instead of a small one, which can lead to issues. These affectionate felines require daily engagement and are ideal for those who enjoy snuggling with their pets. As large-sized cats, Maine Coons necessitate adequate room to roam and sturdy cat trees or shelves to support their weight. In addition, providing a well-balanced diet consisting of high-quality food is crucial for maintaining their physique, and low-quality food should never be given to these, or any other animals.

In the event that a Maine Coon from The Depths of Moria requires re-homing, the responsibility of re-homing will fall exclusively on the breeder. The buyer will not be eligible for a refund. The Depths of Moria takes the placement of each kitten very seriously and strives to ensure that every Maine Coon is placed in a suitable, loving, and permanent home.

Our aim is to ensure that our cats are placed in homes that are capable of providing them with the proper care and attention they require.

The first reference required is a veterinary reference, which is crucial in determining the nature of your current pets, their frequency of visits to the vet, and their current vaccination status. By speaking with your veterinarian, we are able to gain insight into the level of care and attention you provide to your pets and your commitment to their health and well-being.

In addition to the veterinary reference, we also require two personal references. These references help us to determine your suitability as a prospective adopter of one of our beloved Maine Coons. We want to ensure that our cats are placed in homes where they will receive love, care, and attention. Through personal references, we can get a better understanding of your personality, lifestyle, and ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our cats.

We take the placement of our cats very seriously and want to ensure that they are placed in the best possible homes. By requiring references, we aim to make the process of adopting a cat as seamless and stress-free as possible, while also ensuring that our cats are placed in the best possible homes.
