Scout Group requests are
OPEN all year long on
Saturdays and Sundays.
GIRL SCOUTS:
We offer four distinct programs that support Daisy, Brownie and Junior badges (ages 5-12). Please read the program descriptions below and make your selection later in the request form.
- Outdoor Artist- Nature is filled with art! Learn how to look at nature through an artistic lens, while exploring our forest and making different art projects outdoors! (Supports Daisy, Brownie and Junior Outdoor Art Badges)
- Pollinators- Join us on a tour where we will be discovering the vital forces of pollinators. Learn about different insects, the parts of a flower and how they become fruit through the process of pollination. (Supports Brownie Bugs badge and Junior Flowers badge)
- Numbers in Nature- Nature is filled with opportunities to measure and make calculations. On this tour we will use math to tell time, measure temperature and learn about the trees! (Supports Daisy, Brownie and Junior Numbers in Nature badge)
- Shapes in Nature- Hike along our flowering trees side of the Arboretum and experience the different patterns, tessellations and beautiful phenomena that occur in nature. (Supports Daisy, Brownie and Junior Shapes in Nature badge)
OTHER SCOUT GROUPS:
If you are a Cub Scout, Boy Scout or older Girl Scout group and these existing programs do not meet your needs, please continue to complete the request form and a staff member will contact you to coordinate your visit.
