Business Excellence Award

This award is open to all EPEICC Member Companies who have been operating for 5+ years. The nominee has demonstrated excellence in business operations. The company is clearly viewed by peers as being a leader in business excellence and has demonstrated the best aspects of the entrepreneurial spirit. This company should have a strong track record of community involvement and support.

Community Impact Award

This award recognizes the organizations or individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the economic, social and cultural well being of all communities in Eastern PEI. This nominee does NOT need to be a Chamber member but has positively impacted the community and demonstrated a commitment to making a difference and sees social responsibility as an integral part of the success of Eastern PEI.

New Business of the Year Award

This new business has made an outstanding contribution to our local economy since opening its doors! The owner(s) of this business has an entrepreneurial spirit, good employee/employer relations and has demonstrated excellent customer service and/or product delivery. This award is given to an Eastern PEI business that has opened within the last 24 months as of December 31st, 2024. This business cannot be an expansion of an existing business, an existing business that has undergone a name change, or an existing business that has relocated. This award is open to all EPEICC Members.

Innovation & Advancement Award

This award is open to all EPEICC Member Companies that have successfully incorporated a new idea, device or method and / or has utilized the application of better solutions to meet new requirements, internal needs, or market needs. This could be done in many ways, including but not limited to the following: a creative business concept that brings innovation to market, product creation or an innovative approach that improves productivity or work processes.

Up and Coming Entrepreneur Award

This award recognizes individuals 30 years of age or younger as of December 31st, 2024, who is the owner, founder or controlling shareholder of their company and is primarily responsible for its operation with no other individual or group with greater ownership. The company must have been in operation in Prince Edward Island for at least the past 12 consecutive months and company age must be no older than 5 years. The company must be for-profit and be operating in Prince Edward Island and continue to do so at the time of the award presentation.

Volunteer of the Year Award

This award recognizes an individual that unselfishly gives of their time to help others and committees with various initiatives and organizations that helps better the community. They are committed to making a positive impact with organizations and events that occur in the EPEICC region. Has demonstrated effective leadership and role modeling for others.
