Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the visual culture of Tanzania's daladalas and public buses, moving surfaces carrying the images, icons, and symbols that shape how we see ourselves. Facilitated by the current artist in residency, Dr. Gaston Lisak, participants will critically reflect on this imagery and ask, 'What do these images say about who we are today?' ' Through collage and image-making, each participant will design their own "moving manifesto," a reimagined bus surface reflecting personal and collective identity, values, and aspirations. No prior art experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to look closely at the everyday.
