The Internet Archive is hosting a two-day hackathon, on Saturday, November 9th (11am-11pm) ADMISSION IS FREE!

Food and refreshments will be provided, so you don’t have to leave the building from 11 am until 11pm, if you are so inclined. (Yes there are vegetarian and vegan options :-) - We are keeping everything indoors since air quality can vary with all the fires here in Northern California,

As always, this is a great opportunity to hack on SecureDrop, the whistleblower submission system originally created by Aaron and Kevin Poulsen, that is now managed by the Freedom of the Press Foundation. The SecureDrop folks have moved to New York, but will be available for questions while folks hack remotely from all of the hackathons going on around the world this weekend.

Jen Helsby, SecureDrop’s Lead Developer will be presenting "The State of The Drop" at our evening event.
