Advisory and Outreach - Responsible for collecting comments and suggestions from teachers about the exam and promoting the exam at professional conferences

Consultants - Responsible for reviewing and commenting on the exams as they are written and edited

NLE Scholarships (New Latin Educator) - Responsible for reading applications and selecting recipients

Each of the committees has different timelines and time commitments.

Advisory and Outreach - committee members work on projects throughout the year, with the biggest emphasis during the time leading up to the exams in March. The committee meets several times per year for planning and discussion - work is done both independently and in collaboration with other members of the committee

Consultants - different groups of consultants review the exams at one of several stages in the fall. Must complete work and give full feedback within a 2-week window

New Latin Educator Scholarships -the committee members read the applications and submit feedback/ ratings in February/ March

Academic Scholarships - the committee members read the applications and submit feedback/ ratings in May and June
