Holding Sacred Space: Connecting Through the Spirituality of Sound

Event at Dahlgren Chapel 5:30-6:30 pm 

Co-sponsored by the Department of Performing Arts, African American Studies, and the Center for Multicultural Equity and Access, this celebration of Black History Month will center the sacred, focusing on African Diaspora spirituality. Working with the student campus community, guest artists and Woodshed Collective members Antonio Lyons, Alexandria Davis, Refiloe Lepere, and Mxolisi Masilela will create an immersive experience for all through soundscapes and movement rooted in African Diaspora music and spirituality.
