Bicycle Buddies Sign-Up 2019
Our Bicycle Buddies program pairs a 2019 rider with an individual who has fought or is currently fighting cancer, or anyone who has been affected by a friend or family member’s battle. As soon as Buddies are paired, they will begin communicating via their preferred means (letters, emails, pictures, phone calls, etc.). The correspondence will continue after the team’s departure in June, and we intend to offer opportunities for riders and buddies to meet up in person during the summer ride.
 
Through participation in the program, we aim for buddies to build friendships, share stories, and inspire each other in the fight against cancer. By pairing up with a rider, we hope that each Bicycle Buddy back home will understand how powerful and meaningful their fight is.
