Bionic Arm Research Studies
The Center for Neural Interfaces at the University of Utah is seeking volunteer participants with upper-limb loss for bionic arm research studies. Participants will be asked to evaluate state-of-the-art bionic arms that are controlled by thought and provide touch sensation back to their user. Financial compensation will be provided. You will be paid $40.00 per hour up to a maximum of $250.00/day for your time and travel. It is expected that there may be one to three sessions of testing and that each session will last from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Participants from out of town participating in multiple days of testing may also receive complimentary lodging. Participants will need to arrange their own transportation to the University of Utah Clinical Neuroscience Center (175 N Medical Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84132) and be available for the entire duration of the study.
