GESTEM 2015 Workshop Presenter Application
Thank you for your interest in being a workshop presenter at GESTEM 2015!  This year's GESTEM event will be held on Friday, May 8th at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Please complete the application below no later than Sunday, March 1st.

Over the years, our most successful workshops have been those that focus on the HANDS-ON portion of the workshop. One idea or theory with an awesome 35 minute activity will have more impact than a 50 minute power point presentation with 20 concepts. Short advertisement for your presentation *
In less than 50 words, please describe your presentation. Your audience is the students, their parents and teachers as well as the community at large. Please tailor your description as more of an advertisement, focusing on the STEM field your workshop addresses, the hands-on activity the students will participate in and the learning goals of your workshop.
Detailed description of your presentation *
Please use this space to describe your presentation to the planning committee. Describe in detail the hands-on activity you plan to present. Also discuss the technology or science field your presentation addresses and how the activities support the learning goals of your workshop.
Description of Handouts/Giveaways (If applicable)
We get positive feedback every year from the workshops who send their students home with an example or reminder of what they learned. Consider what your workshop could have as a take-home reminder of GESTEM!
Workshop Setup
Each workshop will have their own room. Please use the questions below to tell us about the best setup for your activity. If your application is accepted these can be refined closer to the event, but please do your best to estimate your needs.
Extension Cords
We have extension cords we can loan you for the day. Please bring your own if you can, but if you need extension cords please indicate the quantity here.
Room Setup *
Additional Tables
The room setup will include one table at the front of the room and enough tables to seat ~30 students. Please let us know if you require additional tables for your activity and if so, how many and what size/shape.
Other Needs
Is there anything else the planning committee can do to facilitate your workshop? We cannot make any promises, but we will do our best to support any needs of our presenters.
