Do you qualify for deferred action?
If you meet the requirements for deferred action, it is possible to postpone your removal for a period of 2 years, and obtain a work permit for that period.  After the 2 years are up, you may renew your petition.  The granting of deferred action is discretionary, and this means that USCIS is not required to grant it even if you meet all of the requirements.  Go through the following questionnaire to see if you qualify for deferred action, and feel free to contact the Law Office of Diana Vargas with any questions you may have.
